Alongside playing out, Not David is a founding member of the Oll Korrect and Hey, It’s Love parties in his resident Hamburg, events that focus, strictly or otherwise, on vinyl as the optimum medium of delivering the groove. His 80 minute mix spans decades and genres, rooted in disco, boogie, afro, synth and mediterranean sounds and presented in blissful, slow-motion fashion – dare I say, it’s a bit balearic.
